Spirit Filled Records is pleased to announce that we are now in the process of producing and publishing Japanese praise songs in earnest. Existing hymns and chants are in a classical style, both musically and linguistically, which makes them difficult for young people to accept. In order to spread the gospel, we strongly feel that Japan today needs hymns with a new musical style and in contemporary Japanese. Currently, some churches in Japan translate English songs such as CCM (Contemporary Christian Music) into Japanese for worship, but most of them do not have the same number of notes due to the nature of the Japanese and English languages. For example, to sing “I Love You” requires only 3 notes in English, but “I Love You” requires 18 notes in Japanese. We believe that having professional Christian musicians work on this production and publishing project will allow us to produce new music of high musical quality and in keeping with the characteristics of the Japanese language. However, those who make their living from music cannot do these activities without restricting their usual professional activities. Therefore, we are asking for donations so that Christian musicians can produce and publish praise songs in Japanese with security and peace of mind. When Bach was serving in musical worship at churches, churches were providing the highest quality music in the world. We would appreciate your support and cooperation to bring back the best music to the church once again.

日本語賛美曲制作出版プロジェクト寄付のお願い
この度Spirit Filled Records（スピリット・フィルド・レコーズ）では本格的に日本語賛美曲の制作と出版を行う運びとなりました。既存の賛美歌や聖歌は音楽的にも言語的にも古典的な様式が用いられているため、若い人々には受け入れ辛いのが現状です。福音を広めるため、今の日本には新しい音楽性と現代日本語の賛美曲が必要だと強く感じています。現在日本の諸教会ではCCM（コンテンポラリー・クリスチャン・ミュージック）等の英語曲を日本語に訳して賛美をすることがありますが、その多くは日本語と英語の言語の性質上、音数が合わないものがほとんどです。例えば、「I Love You」と歌うために英語では３音あれば歌うことができますが、日本語では「私はあなたのことを愛しています」と18音も必要です。今回のこの制作出版プロジェクトを、プロフェッショナルなクリスチャンミュージシャンが行うことで、音楽的な質も高く、尚且つ日本語の言語の特性に沿った新しい楽曲が制作できるのではと考えています。しかしながら、音楽で生計を立てている者がこれらの活動を行うには、普段の音楽活動を制限しないと行うことができません。そこでクリスチャンミュージシャン達が安心して日本語賛美曲の制作出版が行えるよう、ご寄付を募ることとなりました。バッハが教会で賛美奉仕をしていた頃、教会は世界で一番質の高い音楽を提供していました。もう一度教会に最高の音楽を取り戻すために、皆様のご支援とご協力をよろしくお願いいたします。
